Drive-Up Commencement Ceremony Communication
Class of 2020
We know that during this unprecedented time with school closures, it has allowed your Senior year to be filled with uncertainties and loss of so many school traditions leading up to graduation. We acknowledge your feelings of disappointment and sadness and we encourage you to stay connected, shift your focus, and look at the greater good.
We know we can not replace the traditional Graduation Ceremony and are committed to holding those when it's safe in light of the pandemic.
In lieu of the graduation timeline during the pandemic, we will conduct two Commencement Ceremonies for the Class of 2020. A Virtual Commencement Ceremony, June 12 at 5 p.m streaming from our YouTube and Social Media platforms and a Drive-Up Commencement Ceremony, June 15, 16, and 17, 9 a.m - 12 p.m, alphabetized by the student's last name.
The Drive-Up Commencement Ceremony will occur over three days, starting on June 15 and will allow each graduate to exit their car, walk across a stage to receive their diploma, and take a picture with the principal. The daily alphabetic schedule, by the last name, for our graduates are as followed:
June 15: Last name, A - G,
June 16: Last name, H - P,
June 17: Last name, Q - Z.
We ask you to follow the guidelines listed below for Drive-Up Commencement Ceremony
- Students and family members would ride together to North Forsyth

- ONE Graduate per car
- Graduates are to be the passenger and not the driver
- Graduates have on their cap and gown and adhering to the graduation attire found on the Senior Flyer
