Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Christina D. Hall

Hello Moore Families! My name is Christina Hall, and I am the Assistant Principal at Moore Magnet Elementary School. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University. I have been in education for 23 years. During my first 18 years, I was a special education teacher in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. While teaching in Pennsylvania, I earned a master’s degree in Reading Education from Kutztown University before moving to North Carolina. In 2016, I left the classroom and came to Winston-Salem / Forsyth County Schools to serve the Exceptional Children’s Division as an Instructional Coach. During this time, I earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from High Point University. During all my years in education, I have maintained a focus on promoting an environment where students are safe, valued, and provided a rigorous, high-quality education.

I am excited to be part of the Moore Magnet Elementary School family. While a rigorous, high-quality education is a focus for me and the staff at Moore, I also focus on Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) at our school. It is important that children feel safe and valued so they can focus on their learning. I believe in providing all children with the tools they need to be successful. I also believe in collaboration between teachers, administrators, school staff, and families. We are a team! Together, we can ensure that all students learn and grow!

I am here to support you, your child, and school staff as we partner in education for your child’s success.
