The Health Science Academy provides a wide range of opportunities in the rapidly expanding healthcare field. Our 4-year program is designed to expose and prepare students who are interested in pursuing healthcare-related careers upon graduation. Future doctors and nurses, as well as technicians, would be interested in the Pharmacy Technician program offered only at John F. Kennedy High School. Students have the opportunity to receive credentials that allow them to become Nationally Certified Pharmacy technicians (CPhT) by the time they graduate from high school. Internship opportunities are provided.
