North Carolina Governor's School
The North Carolina Governor’s School is committed to convening in the summer of 2021 with a robust and unique offering for students. While hopes remain high for a return to the traditional in-person, college-campus, residential experience, such will depend on public health status and directives. In light of this, planning for an authentic and enriching virtual experience is well underway so it will be available if needed. Official decisions on this are still months away, but for now rising seniors and rising sophomores may prepare their applications and seek nomination from their school districts.
The deadline for all parts of student applications to reach Mr. Huck electronically is Friday, October 30, 2020. Applications must be prepared for WSFCS by November 6th. Questions about submitting applications after October 30th may be addressed to Mr. Huck, but strong applicants will work diligently on preparing excellent applications by the October 30th deadline. Mr. Huck can be reached via his email, shuck@wsfcs.k12.nc.us
