    Attention Seniors!

    October is Countdown to College Month through the College Foundation of North Carolina. From October 16th through the 20th, students will have the opportunity to apply to selected colleges on CFNC.org free of charge! West Forsyth will be hosting college application days in the Media Center on October 16th and 17th, where students can receive assistance with filling out college applications on CFNC.org. Students may register to participate using the link provided here. 

    The waived college application fee list is available on the CFNC website, and can be accessed here.

    What if I want to apply to a college on CFNC.org that’s not included on the waived college application fee list?

    You will need to have a form of payment to submit application fees.

    Does every college/university in NC participate in the free application week provided by CFNC?

    No. Please refer to the list of colleges who waive their application fees during October 16th-October 20th.

    Can we participate in the free application week on CommonApp, Coalition, and other application platforms?

    During this week, students may take advantage of the free application week (with selected schools) through CFNC.org only. If colleges/universities decide to waive application fees for prospective students, then this message will be communicated from that institution directly. 

    Can we receive help with college applications on other platforms during this time?

    This event is only for students completing applications through the CFNC website. If you would like assistance with college applications on other platforms, please schedule an appointment with your alphabetical counselor via this link
