What is an Honor Society and Why Should I Join One or Both?
Honor Societies exist to recognize GREAT students in a variety of areas. The National Honor Society (nhs.us) and the National Technical Honor Society (nths.org) exist to recognize students who work hard to achieve academically AND in their communities.
Read below for more information about each organization.
The John F. Kennedy High School Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society was established in 2019.
New members are inducted each year based on a combination of grades, CTSO participation, CTE Courses completed, and teacher recommendations. Every student at Kennedy is encouraged to apply as soon as they have completed the minimum number of courses.
There are a number of benefits to membership, including scholarships!
