The Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Star (Queens of Olympic Chapter # 620) is accepting scholarship applications for high school seniors based on scholastic achievement, intellectual ability, need, character, and community service. Seniors who plan to attend a 4-year college or community college are eligible.

Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools is offering the Cash/Ibraham and Winston Salem Memorial Scholarship to seniors based on need, leadership, unique aptitude, potential, and scholarship.

The Winston Salem Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the Robert Prongay Key Club Scholarship (valued at $2,000). Seniors who meet the following criteria can pick up applications in Student Services:

The Winston Salem Chapter of the Links Incorporated is offering a scholarship to an African American female who meets the following criteria:
- Maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Plans to attend a 4-year university
- Demonstrated leadership
- Ranked in the top 25% of the senior class

The Hagan Scholarship Foundation is offering scholarships to students who meet the following criteria:
- Seniors who have maintained at least a 3.4 GPA
- Plans to enroll in an eligible college/university
- Must graduate from college within 4 years
- Commitment to work 240 hours before fall semester begins
- Gross household income must not exceed $85,000
The scholarship is valued at up to $7,500 per semester (renewable for 4 years). Visit the Hagan Scholarship Foundationwebsite for more information and to submit the scholarship application.
Eligible students can apply for the Scales-Eversley Memorial Scholarship ($1,000 award) if they meet the following criteria:
- African-American Graduating Seniors
- Intend to enroll at an HBCU
- Have maintained at least a 2.5 GPA
- Demonstrated passion for reading, achievement, and service

Seniors who are members of the West Forsyth High School PTSA can apply for a scholarship if you meet the following criteria:
- Maintained at least a 2.0 GPA
- No discipline (no ISS/OSS)
- Plan to attend an accredited college/university, community college, or trade school

The Heart of the Piedmont Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is offering an Impact Scholarship through the Burton Foundation to seniors who meet the following criteria:
- Female students who are residents of Forsyth County
- Maintained at least a 3.0 GPA
- Intent to enroll in a four-year university
Applications are available here and should be submitted by May 15
The Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Scholarship will award a scholarship ($500 - $1,000) to female students who:
- Are African American
- Have Maintained at least a 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrates leadership, commitment to community service, and plans to attend a four-year university

The Winston Salem Chapter of North Carolina Central University Alumni Association Scholarship is accepting applications for the Melvin Mauney Scholarship valued at $1500 and the Winston Salem Alumni Scholarship valued at $1000. Seniors who meet the following criteria should apply here:

- Admitted to and plans to enroll at NCCU
- Maintained a 2.8 weighted GPA

The Shallowford Foundation offers scholarship opportunities for students at West Forsyth and in the Clemmons community. Use the organization's website for a list of scholarships available and submit your application by published deadlines. Some examples of scholarships include:

The Stratford Rotary Club Scholarship will award three $3,000 scholarships (non-renewable) to seniors who have demonstrated academic promise, involvement in community service, and leadership. One (1) West Forsyth applicant will be selected to move forward in the competition.
Return the completed application packet to Mrs. Hubbard by April 14, 2023 at 4:00 pm; one applicant will be chosen to represent West Forsyth High School and submitted to the Stratford Rotary Club Scholarship Committee.

The Vienna Civic Club Scholarship (valued at up to $1,000) is available to seniors who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a graduating senior of Mt. Tabor High School, North Forsyth High School, Ronald Reagan High School, or West Forsyth High School
- Demonstrate scholastic achievement with a 2.5 or higher unweighted grade point average on a 4.0 scale
- Share the VCC commitment to serving the community

The State Employees Credit Union offers a scholarship valued at $10,000 (over four years) annually. The People Helping People Scholarship is open to seniors who meet the following criteria:
- Maintained at least a 2.5 GPA
- NC resident
- SECU Member (verification process required - instructions below)
- Accepted at one of the sixteen UNC campuses
- Demonstrated leadership, community involvement, integrity, and excellent character

The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Alpha Lambda Chapter 2023 Academic Scholarship is now accepting applications for a $1,000 scholarship to be used at any two-year or four-year university. This scholarship is open to minority male students who have maintained at least a 2.7 weighted grade point average. Applications due March 17, 2023

The Clemmons Masonic Lodge is offering two $1,000 scholarships to seniors who meet the following criteria:
- 3.0 Minimum Unweighted GPA
- Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activities and civic activities
