INSPIRE340 TEACHER SPOTLIGHT
Mary James
INSTRUCTIONAL FACILITATOR, OLD TOWN ELEMENTARY
My school was fortunate to join the Inspire340 school network this year. Inspire340 is a collaborative network of schools that have similar needs and supports in common.
Inspire340 has provided transformative professional development that has helped me to refine my practices as a leader. I have been more intentional and reflective as a result of opportunities offered by Inspire340. I have learned to examine data more thoroughly which has helped our educators to better address our learners. Educators should consider working in an Inspire340 school because of the professional development and instructional support we have available. We have access to a team of coaches that are dedicated to our success, help us to increase our professional toolbox, and provide the instructional support that will increase the achievement of our students.

Kenneth M. Jordan III, MSA
PRINCIPAL, HALL-WOODWARD ELEMENTARY
As an administrator for the WS/FCS District, I consider it a privilege to be a part of the Inspire340 network. The Inspire340 network is committed to engaging our school communities and providing wraparound services to our at-promise students in underserved communities. The Inspire340 network has not only impacted our students and communities,
but likewise has been a catalyst in my professional development. Through the network, I have been provided with the tools to implement my vision of academic success for every student, in every class, every day, while likewise garnering effective strategies to engage, support, and motivate my staff. The Inspire340 network has also been an instrument of cohesion and collaboration, affording me the opportunity to engage and partner with my peers to foster inter- and intraprofessional alliance with the common objective of pro- moting academic excellence in underserved communities. All potential WS/FCS employees whose interests in education entail a commitment to addressing the educational challenges of those with the greatest need should seize the opportunity to work in an Inspire340 school. In addition to being equipped with the means to effectively serve underprivileged students and implement evidence-based strategies to foster community-driven collaborative networks to increase the likelihood of academic success, the Inspire Network also offers the opportunity for both personal and professional growth that data cannot always capture. In recount- ing my personal growth and its direct and indirect impact on me, my students, my staff, and my peers, I am humbled and honored to serve as an Inspire340 Principal in WS/FCS District.
