Program Overview

  • Extended School Year and Future Services are for students who have been identified as an Exceptional Children's student. Students have an IEP and received specially designed instruction from an EC Teacher or Related Service Provider.  Staff will provide a high quality summer program for kindergarten through 12th grade students aligned with state and district goals.  The purpose of the program is to provide Future Services (catch up services) to students who have been impacted by COVID since March 2020.  The intended outcome is that students receive intentionally planned, specially designed instruction focusing on their IEP goals that will allow gaps to close and students to show growth.  In addition, Extended School Year (ESY) services will also be offered for students who meet the eligibility criteria.

The summer sessions are offered in-person but a virtual option is also available.
