Our Sixth Grade Team
Ms. Beamer (Science and English/Language Arts)
Hello Virtual Academy families! My name is Victoria Beamer and I’m the 6th grade English Language Arts and Science Teacher here at the VA. This is my fourth year at the VA but the start of my 14th year in education! When I’m not teaching, you can find me at home with my husband, Joshua, and our two children Lillian (6 years old) and Joshua Jr. (4 years old). I enjoy singing, modeling, going to the beach, and reading when I can find the time!
Mr. Radulovic (Social Studies and Math)
Hello Virtual Academy Artic Foxes, I am Mr. Radulovic, but you can call me Mr. R. I teach 6th grade Math and Social Studies and have been at VA since the school opened. I love both history and Maths so I get to do what I really enjoy. I graduated a very looooong time ago from Wake Forest University and have lived in Washington DC, Atlanta, Ga., and Boston Ma. I grew up in Alexandria, Va., just 9 miles from the Washington Monument. I love traveling and the beach is my favorite place to react. I have two daughters that have graduated from college and live on their own. Breck is in Chicago, and Emma is in South Lake Tahoe, California. Three dogs and a cat (who thinks he's a dog) makes life pretty busy at my house. I'm sure you will meat them throughout the year. I am looking forward to the start of school and can't wait to "getty-up with the learning." PS: i give extra creedit to students who point out spelling, grammer and usage errors that I some times make.
Mr. Heath (Support)
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I will be co-teaching in the 6th grade this year! I am excited to begin my 22nd year of teaching! This will be my fourth year at the Virtual Academy. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports in person and spending time with my family! I have two high-school-aged children that keep me busy with their sports schedules! While teaching from home, I have the best TA! He is a one-year-old Chiweenie dog named Buck! I am a die-hard Wake Forest and Chicago Cubs fan! My wife and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this summer and we are members of Two Cities Church in Winston-Salem! I am looking forward to a great year! Go Deacs! Go Cubs, Go!
Ms. Magee (Support)
Hello! My name is Tina Magee. I’m entering my 22nd year of being a National Board Certified Special Education teacher. I taught for 19 years in Guilford County. This is my 3rd year in WSFCS and at Virtual Academy. I am single with no children, so my students become my “babies”. I love to spoil them with small gifts and treats for great behavior and personal academic achievements. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy gathering with my friends, traveling, fishing, and loving on my parents.
