• WSFCS requires students to earn 22 credits to meet graduation requirements.  Each year, students have the opportunity to earn 8 credits with some exception to students who might take courses at the Career Center or Dual Enrollment/Career & College Promise courses (they may be enrolled in less than 8 courses).  School Counselors monitor students' progress by regularly updating individual Future Ready Core Monitoring forms.

The Career Center is primarily accessed by Juniors and Seniors (limited access to Freshman and Sophomores) who are interested in Advanced Placement courses or Career Technical Education courses (e.g. Cosmetology, Photography, Automotive Tech, Radio Broadcasting, etc.).

Juniors and Seniors also have the opportunity to take courses through our district partnership with Forsyth Tech's Career & College Promise program.  Your School Counselor will give you information and connect you with the designated Recruitment & Enrollment Advisor for instructions on how to proceed.
