    ORES follows the North Carolina Standard Course of Study that is provided by the state. The curriculum guides are available on the DPI website for all courses that are taught or click on the link below. If you have any questions about a course you can contact your teacher or Mitzi Talbert.

    Helping Out: What you can do to help your student  succeed.  
    Students should read for 20 to 30 minutes at least four nights a week.  Studies have shown that reading improves grades and performance on standardized test. This could be quality time spend with your student if you and your student participate in a book club. Sit with your student. Read the same book and have conversations about what you are reading
