    2024-2025 High School Registration Events/Important Dates

    1. 9th - 11th graders attend Registration Fair January 31 (12:00- 2:00) - Old Gym
    2. 9th - 11th graders Registration Orientation Sessions at West Forsyth - February 1 and February 2 - APAC
      1. February 1 - 11th Graders (11:20 - 12:00)
      2. February 1 - 10th Graders (3:00 - 3:40)
      3. February 2 - 9th Graders (11:20 - 12:00)
      4. February 2 - Career Center/Forsyth Tech students (3:00 - 3:40)
    3. 9th - 11th graders Registration Packets Distributed - February 7 in Homeroom
    4. 9th - 11th grade students/families attend Registration Information Night February 7 @ 6:30 (APAC)
    5. West Forsyth Teachers enter Course Recommendations in PowerSchool from January 22 - February 2
    6. 9th - 11th graders Enter Course Requests in PowerSchool February 5-9 *course requests will be finalized during individual student meetings*
    7. 9th - 11th graders will meet with assigned School Counselors individually from February 12 - March 14

    2024-2025 Registration Season Tips:

    • Review WSFCS Registration Handbook
    • Talk to current teachers about course options within their departments/curriculum
    • Current 9th - 11th graders should attend the Registration Fair on January 31 (12:00 - 2:00) in the Old Gym
    • Think about courses that match your career interests.
      • West Forsyth offers standard, honors, Pre-AP, AP, and honors CTE courses.
    • Consider taking courses at Forsyth Tech through the Career & College Promise program.
      • High School Juniors and Seniors who have earned at least a 2.8 unweighted grade point average are eligible to take college-level courses at Forsyth Tech for high school credit.  Some opportunities are available for Freshman and Sophomores.  See your assigned School Counselor for information - you will be connected to Mr. Waddell (Forsyth Tech Recruitment & Retention Specialist) to work through the process.

    West Forsyth HS Tours

    *Private School students, Charter School students, or Home School students and families can register for a small group tour at West Forsyth by accessing the Titan Tours Signup Genius

    WSFCS students are not excused from their school day to participate in school tours

    Career Center Visit to West Forsyth

    Career Center staff will be on site to visit with 10th graders on January 8 during 4th period.  Tenth graders will attend an information session in the APAC to hear about course opportunities in preparation for the 2024-2025 registration cycle.  Visit Career Center webpage for details about programs available, course descriptions, pre-requisites, etc.  The Career Center will host an Open House on February 1 (5:30 - 7:30).
