You're invited!
When: Saturday, April 29, 2023, 11:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Where: Reynolda House Museum of American Art, 2250 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem
Come spread your wings and soar during Reynolda Community Day! All WS/FCS families who RSVP and attend will enjoy free lunch and museum admission, an afternoon performance by Carolina Music Ways, a StoryWalk®, hands-on art activities inspired by the museum’s spring exhibition Stephen Towns: Declaration & Resistance, and more!
Every family will also receive one hardback copy of The Year We Learned to Fly written by Jacqueline Woodson and illustrated by Rafael López. This lyrical text and dazzling art celebrate our extraordinary ability to lift ourselves up and imagine a better world.

- Free for WS/FCS families
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Transportation provided* by WS/FCS from four schools:
- Ashley Academy
- Mineral Springs Elementary
- Petree Elementary
- Prince Ibraham Elementary
- Lunch provided
*Bus transportation only available for adults and children 5 years and older. Buses will depart your designated school location at 11:45 a.m. The event ends at 3:30 p.m. at which time buses will depart the museum to return to each school. - Free for WS/FCS families

Registration

- First 24 families to register and attend get a Visa gift card on Community Day.
- After you register, more information will be provided via email and/or text (if you consented to receiving texts) several days before the event. This will include details about your arrival, how to catch the provided transportation from the school you indicated, and other important logistics about our day together. Remember that transportation is only available for adults and children 5 years and older.
