    National School Lunch Hero Day to recognize the dedicated lunch ladies and men who show up every day to ensure that children have access to healthy, nutritious meals throughout the year.
     
    In honor of School Lunch Hero Day, we would love for students and staff to show their appreciation by doing any of the following or coming up with your own way to honor the DINE WS/FCS cafeteria staff at your schools. 

     

    Ideas:

    • Make signs, banners or posters to decorate your cafeteria and to promote the work your child nutrition staff does.
    • We have added coloring sheets and activity sheets below.
    • Ask your school to recognize the DINE WS/FCS Child Nutrition employee's during announcements. 
    • Feature your DINE WS/FCS Child Nutrition employee's  on your schools social media accounts (and don't forget to tag @wsfcsfood)
    • Send a thoughtful greeting to make your DINE WS/FCS Child Nutrition employee's feel special.
