This course is eligible for honors weight.
MM51 Marketing HN: This course is designed to introduce students to the dynamic processes and activities in marketing. The experience includes students developing an understanding and skills in the areas of distribution, marketing-information management, market planning, pricing, product/service management, promotion, and selling. Students also develop an understanding of marketing functions, applications, and impact on business operations.
MH42 Hospitality and Tourism HN: This course introduces the industry of travel, tourism, and recreational marketing. Acquire knowledge and skills on the impact of tourism, marketing strategies of the major hospitality and tourism segments, destinations, and customer relations. Emphasis is on career development, customer relations, economics, hospitality and tourism, travel destinations and tourism promotion. Mathematics and social studies are reinforced. Prerequisite: MM51 Marketing or BF10 Business Essentials or MH31 Sport and Event Marketing
