    FE21 Teaching as a Profession I HN - This course is designed to encourage students to consider teaching as a career. Students are exposed to the many facets of education through class discussion, observation, and participation in public school classrooms. Students will examine their aptitudes for teaching, learner needs and development, including students with exceptionalities, and the history, trends, and governance of education. English/language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, technology, and interpersonal relationships are reinforced. 
    FE22 Teaching as a Profession II HN - This course is designed to encourage students to pursue teaching as a career. Students learn about the importance of positive learning environments, curriculum development, & use of instructional strategies. Students must also complete Teaching as a Profession Field Experience in the same year. Students are eligible for articulated university credit upon successful completion of the Teaching as a Profession pathway.  Prerequisite: FE21 Teaching as a Profession I 
    FE23 Teaching as a Profession Field Exp HN - In this course, students participate in guided and independent classroom leadership activities with mentoring from their cooperating teacher. The field experience provides students with the skills and tools that are an integral and complementary component of Teaching as a Profession I and II, which assist in developing pedagogical skills, knowledge, and characteristics necessary for effective teaching.  Prerequisite: FE22 Teaching as a Profession II

    Occupations: Dietetic Technician
    FN41 Food and Nutrition I HN - Emphasizes the relationship of diet to health and the selection of foods to satisfy needs. Learn to use and care for the kitchen while learning to prepare, store and serve a variety of foods. This course is eligible for honors weight. 

    FN42 Food and Nutrition II HN - This course focuses on advanced food preparation techniques while applying nutrition, food science and test kitchen concepts using modern technology. Students take the exam for a nationally recognized food safety credential. This course is eligible for honors weight.  Prerequisite: FN41 Food and Nutrition I
