• Assistant Principal Samuel Duncan McMillan IV

    Greetings, Speas Bees!

    I look forward to working with you on your educational journey at Speas Global Elementary School. As one of the assistant principals at Speas, I will help coordinate volunteers in aiding with all the wonderful projects and events happening at our school. Alongside Mr. Riddick, I will be helping ensure all students get to and from school safely. Please make sure to reach out to either of us regarding changes in transportation, and we will help make the necessary changes to get your child home.     As a North Carolina Teaching Fellow, I completed my undergrad at Campbell University, receiving an Elementary Education degree with a concentration in History. I taught for ten years in elementary school before transitioning into administration. I completed my Masters of School Administration at Appalachian State University. This year I have joined an outstanding leadership team at Speas alongside Principal Ash, Assistant Principal Riddick, and others. My wife Ryan and I look forward to joining the larger Speas Community.
