I graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. My first teaching position was at Clyde A. Erwin High School in Asheville, NC. While there I completed a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Western Carolina. I moved to Winston-Salem in 1998 and taught at North Forsyth High School. While working at North Forsyth I completed the Educational Specialist Program in Public School Administration from Appalachian State University. I have been an assistant principal at Hanes since December of 2001.
