Tutoring ServicesIn an effort to help our students, Hill Arts Magnet Middle School offers tutoring services at the school. Click here for "Tutoring Registration Form."Who: All students who scored a Level 1 or a Level 2 on the End-of-Grade Test(s) at the end of last school year are provided tutoring.
When: On Thursdays, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, tutoring will be provided at Hill. This begins on Thursday, November 12, 2009.
Cost: Absolutely FREE!!!
Tutors: Selected HAMMS teachers will offer tutoring on Thursdays from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Please note that this tutorial program is in addition to the Supplemental Education Service (SES) program discussed below.

The teachers who will be providing the tutorial services are NC certified instructors who are familiar with our students and are ready to help your child succeed. The instructors for the program include:

The students who participate in the HAMMS Tutorial Program will follow a set schedule each Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning. The schedule for Saturdays is as follows:
8:45-9:00 Light Breakfast Snack
9:00-9:38 Preppie Reading
9:40-10:18 Problem-Solving Math
10:18-10:30 Light Snack
10:32-11:10 Reading Strategies
11:12-11:50 Preppie Math
11:50-12:00 Dismissal of Students
SES Tutoring Services
Help your child succeed in reading and math. The WSFCS Title I Department funds Supplemental Educational Services (SES). Students who attend Hill and receive free or a reduced-price lunch are eligible. Parents can choose the tutoring company you would like to provide services to your child(ren). Call 771-4515 and ask to speak to Mr. Motsinger for details.
