African American Scientists- Black History Month Project

This project has been designed in honor and celebration of the contributions our African Americans Scientists have given to us. This list is a sampling of the many scientists we honor.
DIRECTIONS: Research one of the scientists (download attached). Your grade will be determined from the rubric below. Projects are due Friday, Feb. 28, 2014.
Excellent effort = 4
Above average = 3
Average effort = 2
Little effort = 1

Categories to be judged: Dressup, Props, Clear and understandable presentation, creativity, correct information. Include: Scientist full name, primary field of study, date of birth, degrees, Universities/Colleges attended, awards, accomplishments, and any interesting facts about this scientist.
