• HSAS Student Research

ResearchStudents can participate in student research through the Health Sciences Advanced Studies course.  Having completed the required coursework in either the Biotech or Medical Science strand, students can apply the knowledge they have learned to investigate real world problems.  The teacher will help the students select a mentor in the area of their research interest.  The mentor and the teacher will then serve as valuable resources for the student as they design, carry out, and report on their research project.  It is expected that the students will submit their project for evaluation in one or more science competitions in the Spring.  The student will also be asked to present their work to the staff, students, and community members.
