    Reading:  Setting, Cause and Effect, Compare and Contrast, Predicting, Making Judgments, Fact and Opinion, Author's Purpose, Plot, AR goal making, EOG reading test strategies, Portfolio testing and MOY Dibels, Daze, and Reading 3D

    Writing:  Same as first quarter plus informative/explanatory writing

    Math:  Solving problems involving mass and volume, measuring perimeter and area and relating area to operations, exploring division and relating division to multiplication, comparing fractions with models and reasoning

    Science:  Changes in matter, transferring of energy from one object to another, motion and factors that affect motion

    Social Studies:  Events, Individuals, and Ideas influencing the history of local and regional communities
