CHORUS EXPECTATIONS

  • CHORUS CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
     
    1.  Raise your hand before you speak and wait to be recognized.
    2.  LOOK! LISTEN AND LEARN
    3.  Participation is Important... T-R-Y, you must try.  Your grade DEPENDS on your level of participation.
    4.  Have fun and do your best!
    5.  No gum, food or candy allowed!  (Only bottled water with a cap/lid)
    6. Self- discipline is not optional, it's REQUIRED!
     
    BE Punctual!    How does it look?  Be in your seat, quiet at the beginning of class and ready to begin.
    BE Prepared!    How does it look?  Have writing materials, journals, music and assignments ready.
    BE Respectful! How does it look?  (No Bullying, respect personal space) Show respect for self, teacher, materials, peers, subs and any visiting adult
    BE On Task!     How does it look?  Quiet during rehearsals when others are singing or speaking, follow the parts of other sections and look for patterns, contrasts and work on your part. 
     
    Consequences of your Actions!
    1.  Non-verbal warnings (Eye contact, gestures)
    2.  Verbal Warnings (Reminders, requests and redirecting inappropriate behaviors)
    3.  Behavior Sign-in Log
