Homework in 4th gradeHomework in 4th grade is very important and is also reflective of what we do in the classroom. Homework will be sent home every night except for Fridays. Sometimes the kids will have special projects to do over the weekend, but a note will be sent home to let you know.It is very important that your child read every night for 25 minutes or more while practicing comprehension strategies. After reading, have children tell you a short summary of what was read to check for understanding. It is really important that they understand what they are reading and aren't just word calling. The Math sheet will always be what we have learned for the day or a review from something previously learned.Monday- Read 20 minutes and comprehension sheetMath sheetSpelling Words 2 times eachTuesday- Read 20 minutes and comprehension sheetMath sheetWrite words 2 times eachWednesday- Read 20 minutes and comprehension sheetMath SheetWord Sort with wordsThursday- Read 20 minutes and comprehension Sheet
