My name is Linda Mayer. This is my tenth year as a Speech/Language Pathologist here at Lewisville Elementary. I will be working with grades 2 -5.

I received my undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in Human Services. I received my masters degree in Speech/Language Pathology at Nova University in Florida. I am certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), Clinical Certificate of Competency (CCC), Board of Examiners (BOE), and Department of Professional Instruction (DPI).
I will be working with each student in a small group. Each student will be given a homework folder which will include practice sheets that will reinforce what was worked on in speech for that day. If the child brings the folder back to class, they will get 1 point. If they return the folder back with a parents signature showing me that the homework was completed they will get 2 points. After accumulating 10 points they will get to go to the prize box.

I am looking forward to working with your child this school year. If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to call me here at school.
