How to have a successful third grade year:The secret to a successful school year is quite simple. For students, I ask them to pay attention, to follow all rules & procedures, and to try their best. Parents & Families, please monitor students' work, agendas, VIP folders, and bookbags. When you have questions or concerns, please email me cbbrown@wsfcs.k12.nc.us , call & leave a message at our new number (336) 703-4287 or send a note with your child. If something sounds or seems unusual, please contact me. I can assure you that I want to do what I can to help your child have his or her best possible experience in third grade. I can do more for your child with your support.
From time to time, we will participate in the Scholastic Book Club. I will send home paper flyers. You may order via the paper flyers or online. I will send additional information home, but for now here is the link to our Scholastic Online Book Club Ordering: https://orders.scholastic.com/HCBPH. If you plan to order online (which is very convenient & helps our classroom earn additional books), please use the link and register with Scholastic so you will have access to the online ordering. Your support helps us to add to our classroom library! :-)
More information will be provided as we move through the school year. Please send me your email so I can send you e-newletters and other important information. It is a fast & convenient way for me to connect with my students, parents & families.
I am looking forward to working with my students and am here for you too!I have several links on the "Homework & Helpful Links" page.
