    • Homework is your child's opportunity to practice what has been taught.  Students will have homework every day except Friday.  Homework is expected to be completed and turned in on time.  Please review your child's homework to be sure he/she understands the concepts that have been covered in class.
    • All students are expected to read for 20 minutes every night.
    • Please sign your child's agenda every night after all assignments have been completed.

    1. Make sure your child is spending a fair amount of time reading for pleasure on a variety of topics which interest him/her.
    2. Listen to your child read orally every day and ask questions about the reading to be sure he/she understands what was read.
    3. Encourage your child to read for a variety of reasons: for pleasure, to find information, to look for details, etc.
