About Mrs. Hoelldobler
I love teaching First Grade at Sherwood Forest Elementary! I think I absolutely have the best job and my work truly makes me happy. This is my 13th year at Sherwood and my 21st year teaching. I was born and raised in Illinois and moved to NC twenty-one years ago. My extended family live in Illinois and we do a lot of traveling back for visits. Andy (my husband) is from Germany and his extended family is located there. We have had the opportunity to travel to Germany on several occasions to visit. Andy and I have two children, Michaela and Noah. Michaela is a Senior at Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, PA and Noah is a Sophomore at N.C. State University; and they are both past Sherwood Forest students! We also have a spoiled cock-a-poo named Teddy and several goldfish in our outdoor garden pond. Some things I enjoy (besides teaching!) are; reading, gardening (I love flowers!), hiking, skiing, being outdoors, spoiling my dog, and being with my family.
