1st Quarter

• Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies
• Add and subtract within 100 on a number line
• Add up to three two-digit numbers using strategies based on place value
• Count withing 1,000 skip-count by 5s and 10s
• Determine whether a group of objects, within 20, is even or odd
• Understand that the three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens and one

2nd Quarter

• Tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, using a.m and p.m
• Use addition to find the total number of objects in rectangular arrays within up to 5 rows and 5 columns
• Comparing numbers with <, >, or =

3rd Quarter

• Addition and subtraction within 1,000 using strategies
• Estimating length of objects
• Measuring objects in inches and centimeters with the correct tool

4th Quarter

• From data collected, create picture graphs and bar graphs
• Answer questions using picture graphs and bar graphs
• Problem solving with money
• Recognize and describe attributes of 2-D and 3-D shapes
• Partition shapes into equal pieces. Using words such as halves, thirds and fourths
