I am...Mr. Rick Jasso. This is my sixteenth year teaching at East Forsyth High School. This year I will be teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology (Honors) and Advance Placement Environmental Science (APES).
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas a long time ago. I've lived in North Carolina since February 1994 when I was transferred to Camp Lejeune, NC. I retired from the U.S. Navy in July of 2001 after almost 22 years of service. My occupation was Hospital Corpsman...aka, Combat Medic. The last seven years of my military career were spent with the U.S. Marine Corps and the last four of those seven years were teaching combat medicine. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. I am licensed by the State of North Caronlina to teach General Sciences.
