Curiosity Killed the Cat,however.....
I've always been a very curious person. I take things apart just to see what's inside them. Most of the time I can even assemble things back together WITHOUT extra parts! I am also curious about HOW my students think. My favorite question is, "Why do you think that is the right answer?" Fifth graders have a unique thinking ability. I love listening to them. I love learning through them.
I was raised in Mexico, New York (curious?). It is 5 miles south of Texas, New York and located 7 miles from the southeastern edge of Lake Ontario. Mexico is approximately 45 miles northwest of Syracuse. Mexico receives about 120 inches of snow per year (not all at one time). While in New York, I always lived close to my family (my parents, 6 siblings and many nieces and nephews ) in Oswego County, NY until I moved to Walkertown in 1987. This is my 29th year at Walkertown Elementary. I am married to Bruce Richardson. I have 2 grown children, stepchildren and grandchildren. Bruce and I enjoy attending church, ziplining ,the symphony, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
