Sra. Johnson's BackgroundHello! I teach Spanish at East Forsyth High School. This will be my 21st year of teaching Spanish. I began studying Spanish while in high school in central Florida. After graduating with a major in Spanish from Western Carolina University, I began traveling abroad. I have been to Mexico, Canada, Spain, Portugal, England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Each trip has been a unique experience that has enhanced my teaching . General RequirementsI ask that each student is prepared on a daily basis with a writing utensil, paper, textbook, and a 3-ring notebook. The notebook should have dividers for four sections: información importante, apuntes (notes), classwork/homework, and bell-ringers. I would like the students to cover their textbooks this year to lessen the amount of wear and tear.
Also, I firmly believe that every evening students should study their vocabulary or grammar points 15-20 minutes. Even though there may not be an actual homework assignment, there is always something to be studying.
