  • Starting our BLOG

    Royalty   Our  first Blog is going to be very exciting!!! However, there are some expectations that we must adhere to as we comment our new Blog.  This is a time for you to respond to any questions or information that I've taught during this quarter or during the year.  All information we've learned is important but I want to give you the opportunity to share with me what you've learned or any other information that will be helpful to me that I don't know.  Yes, now you can teach me!!

  • Money, Measurement

    1.               Jill went scuba diving in the lake near her house.  She swam and searched for 70 min.  Her parents told her to be home at 6:00.  What time did she start scuba diving? 

          2.       The Royal Toucans go to music every week at 11:00 a.m.  Ms. Ford was told by Mrs. Vaughn one day to pick the children up later than normal.  She kept them until 12:15 p.m.  How many minutes did Mrs. V have the children?

     

          3.       Going to the YMCA is lots of fun.  We leave DTS at 11:45 a.m. and usually return at 1:15 p.m.  How long are we at the YMCA?  Use both mins min/hour.

     

          4.       It takes 95 min to get from W-S to Durham N.C.  If the Toucan boys leave at 2:26 p.m., what time will it be when they finally meet the Toucan girls?
