Applications for prospective Junior Volunteers who wish to volunteer in the Greater Winston-Salem Market during the Summer of 2023 are now available! If you would like to be a Junior Volunteer this summer, please apply as soon as possible. The first step of the process is to complete an online application by clicking one of the links provided below. The application is also located on Novant Health’s public volunteer webpage. The online application deadline is Friday, April 14th.

Returning Junior Volunteer Applicants – Returning Junior Volunteer Application
Junior volunteers are eligible to participate in the program if they are at least 14 years of age. The student may continue in the Junior Volunteer Program through the summer following their high school graduation. We are looking for mature students who can make a commitment to 6 hours per week for at least 6 weeks of the summer program. This year’s program will begin on Monday, June 19th and run through Friday, August 11th, with two weeks allowed for vacation.
After the completed online application is received by Volunteer Services, Novant Health will email the applicant the following forms: two teacher/guidance counselor recommendation forms, parent/guardian consent form, media consent form, service area request form, immunization history form, and healthcare worker TB questionnaire form. In order to be considered in the selection process, all forms mentioned above must be submitted to the Volunteer Services office by Friday, April 14, 2022.
