As I welcome you to Sherwood Forest, there’s no denying that this school year is very different from what we would have anticipated this time a year ago. Circumstances in our world and a pandemic have caused us to shift courses dramatically. As we navigate these uncertain times together, I know this: Sherwood Forest is home to an amazing group of teachers and staff who care passionately about our children and want to inspire, help and equip them to thrive. Let’s partner together-- as parents, teachers and community members—to stay connected, to support our children and each other and make the most of the situation we are in. Your involvement is crucial and the Sherwood PTA looks forward to partnering with you. Stay tuned to the Scoop for all the ways you can partner with the PTA as this year progresses and look below for information on how to take the first step by joining the PTA!

Sherwood Forest will be very different for the start of the 2020-2021 school year, but our teachers and staff need our support more than ever. Please consider joining the Sherwood Forest Parent Teacher Association (PTA) this year. Your PTA membership dues help fund PTA programs, provide equipment and supplies for teachers, and support advocacy for children and educators at the local, state and national levels.

    Our goal is 100%
    SFES family participation!

Increasing our PTA membership, even by one, makes it possible to provide important educational resources for our students and teachers and creates a stronger school community at SFES.
