MR. SMITH'S CLASSROOM POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:
Policies and procedures in Mr. Smith's classroom are made to hold students accountable and organized for their actions and work.#1: ELECTRONICSCell phones and other electronic devices will be taken for the day if used without permission, interrupt learning, or interrupt instruction
#2: HALL PASSESStudents will NOT be allowed to use a hall pass the FIRST and LAST 5 minutes of class.
- Students need to fill out the date, time, room, and destination in the student handbook for Mr. Smith to sign as their hall pass.
- Mr. Smith reserves the right to not allow a hall pass.
#3: PENCIL EXCHANGE
If you need to borrow a PENCIL for the class period, then you must exchange an item of your own (mp3, cell phone, etc).
Your Item will be returned when you have returned Mr. Smith's pencil at the end of the period.#4: CALCULATOR SIGN OUT1) Sign out a calculator by writing your name and calculator number on the board.
(Exp: Mr. Smith #1)
2) Return it to the proper spot on the table at the end of the period.
Failure to follow this policy may result in loss of calculators.#5: TEST AND QUIZ1) Students who miss a test or quiz must make up the material within 5 school days. Students must schedule to make it up.
After those 5 days and students will receive a ZERO score.
2) Students who do not finish a quiz or test within the allotted time have to finish their assignment within 5 school days.
After those 5 days, student's work will be graded including blank problems.
#6: TARDY POLICY
Sign your name and period on the tardy sheet before taking your seat quietly.WHAT IS A TARDY?
The bell has finished ringing and you have not entered the classroom.
