End of Grade Testing
North Carolina's End of Grade tests assess standards taught in the Standard Course of Study. NC students in 3rd-8th grade are assessed using End of Grade assessments written by NC teachers and developed by the state of NC. These End of Grade (EOG) tests have been renamed Ready EOG, to remind us that we are readying our students for "career" and "college".
Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades are assessed with English/Language Arts and math assessments. All assessments are delivered in an online format.
