Thank you for stopping by to check on my page. You are looking in the right spot to stay on top of everything in
the world of Mrs. Hepler's science class. Later in the fall of 2016, all of this information will be moving to our new learning platform, Haiku. Details of this transition and its completion will be sent home soon.

    My Classroom Mission

As a teacher my mission is to ensure that each and every student has access to a safe and respectful environment
to learnabout science and life. While focused on the North Carolina Essential Standards, we will work together to
master essentials while also going above and beyond in the awesome world of science. My students will be well
prepared for the 8th gradeand high school.

    About Me

I am very excited to be starting my 5th year with DTS. We have accomplished so much and so many more great things planned for the middle years program. Before coming to DTS, I taught in 7th grade science for 6 years in Iredell county.

I am originally from Cleveland Ohio, and graduated with honors from Cleveland State University. I moved to North Carolina

in 2005 and enjoyed my time in Statesville, but I currently live in King, NC. Outside of DTS, LOVE crafts and anything involving my husband and daughter, Emily and  son Benjamin.
