     My name is Stephanie Parsons. I am the art teacher at Sherwood Forest Elementary. This will be my eleventh year teaching art and my eighth year teaching in Winston Salem, Forsyth County Schools. I grew up in the Winston Salem area and went to undergraduate school at East Carolina University. I received my K-12 licensure at the University of North Carolina Asheville. It was then that I was offered a position teaching art in the Asheville, NC area. After a few years, I decided to move back closer to home and received a position at Sherwood Forest. I feel extremely lucky to be a part of such a wonderful staff and community.
