• The North Carolina Children's Book Award is awarded every year to a picture book and a junior book that receives the most votes from North Carolina students. K-2 students here at Caleb's Creek read the picture book choices in the media center and vote for their favorite. Grade 3-6 students are invited to read at least five of the junior book nominees on their own and then they can also vote for their favorite.
