    This website includes information and resources for parents of gifted children.  It offers information on testing, special schools and programs, camps, meeting the social and emotional needs of gifted children, and parenting the gifted child.



    Davidson Institute for Talent Development-

    Davidson is a national nonprofit group that is dedicated to supporting gifted students age 18 and under.  They offer a database of free resources and a free eNewsletter. A brochure offering an overview of their programs is attached.




    Hoagies Gifted Education Page-

    This website offers “all things gifted”.  It includes information for parents, educators, and gifted children.  A special tab across the top will take you to fun activities for gifted children.  They offer an online community for the gifted and there’s a special tab that will take you to gifts that are appropriate for gifted children (smart toys, music,books, movies, etc.).




    The Association for the Gifted (TAG)-

    The primary purpose of this organization is to promote the welfare and education of children and youth with gifts, talents, and/or high potential.




    Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools-

    Our system’s website offers excellent explanations regarding AIG identification, placement, and programs.  It also offers links to websites and parent organizations.



    Lewisville Elementary School-

    Our school’s website offers information on AIG identification and testing.  It also offers useful links for parents of gifted children and a reading list!
