• I cannot wait to teach science on the 7th grade new and improved Cyclones Team here at Southeast Middle School! The 2014-2015 school year is my third year teaching at SEMS. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am from a small town made famous by a television show (Andy Griffith Show). Yes, that small town full of charm exists which is called Mount Airy, NC. My hope is for students to know you might come from a small town but you can set goals for the future and dream big. Always in my classroom remember to give your best effort and my motto is always TRY!

    Some interests I have are traveling! I have been to most of the eastern U.S. states and I have traveled abroad to the Czech Republic and Greece. I also love antiquing which is a passion that my family does. Antiquing reminds me of treasuring the past but finding a use for the future.  I enjoy all types of music from country, rap, classical, rock, the 80's, to numerous more. I also enjoy different sports.  If you want to get to know more just ask ! :)
