    Every student will need the following supplies. They may be purchased as your budget allows. Many thanks for providing our little learners with these vital and necessary school tools. Prepared students are the most proficient, so we know that this upcoming school year is going to be HUGELY SUCCESSFUL!!!

    MUST HAVES…

    ·      Backpack (without wheels)

    ·      1 ½” DURABLE QUALITY, 3-ring binder with clear view pocket on front cover; The better brands will run around $3.50-$4. each but will be money well spent as this will serve as your student’s only daily homework/communication organizer for the entire school year..

    ·      2 boxes of 24-count Crayola crayons (replace as needed)  ***note: .50 ea. @ Walmart…

    ·      1 pack Crayola colored pencils ***note: approx. 1.67 ea. @ Walmart

    ·      1 pack Crayola markers: CLASSIC colors ( NOT the more expensive, washable type)… ***note: approx. $1.67 ea. @ Walmart

    ·      2 highlighter markers (A quality brand, ex: Sharpie, is preferred for durability)

    ·      2 pkgs. of glue sticks ***note: .50 ea @ Walmart

    ·      10 plain, #2 pencils - NO decorated pencils, please…unfortunately, they DO NOT sharpen well and are not worth the extra cost.

    ·      4 large, pink erasers; OR 1 pkge. of pencil top erasers

    ·      1 pump or refill bottle of either Dial or Softsoap hand soap

    ·      2 large boxes of Kleenex tissues

    ·      2 jumbo rolls of Bounty or Scott paper towels (these brands are more durable & clean up better)…

    ·      1 box of Gallon Size, FREEZER bags NOT Zipper type, please… (will be used continuously for safe storage of weekly,Take Home Reader books, etc.

    ·      Container(s) of Clorox brand wipes

    ·      Bag(s) of treats: ex: Smarties candies,Tootsie Rolls, Lifesavers, etc. for weekly, Friday incentive rewards

    ·      New or gently used fun items from The Dollar Tree or Happy Kids’/Meals, etc. for our classroom prize box

    We will credit all of the students’ supplies as they are brought in. Therefore, school supply items DO NOT need to be labeled with students’ names. Instead, we will group them together for the entire class to use as needed all year long at each of our five “Community” work table and/or desk groupings.
