About Me...
I am a Viking through and through. I graduated from North Forsyth and returned to teach here in 2003.
I continued my education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. ( GO SPARTANS! ) I earned my B.S. in Biology with a minor in chemistry in 2003. During my undergraduate studies, I was a NC Teaching Fellow and will again mentor North's prospective NC Teaching Fellows during the application process if the scholarship gains funding in the future.
In 2007, I again graduated from UNCG with my M. Ed. in Secondary Science Education and, two years later, attained my National Board Certification.
I have a wonderful husband, Mike, and two beautiful children, Logan and Ryleigh. I coordinate the homecoming court festivities.
