Hall-Woodward Elementary School

 

Hello! I am the music teacher at Hall-Woodward Elementary School. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 1992. I spent the last 12 years teaching in Yadkin County.

Most of my classes are finishing up learning and discussing the concept of syncopation in rhythm. We are currently using the percussion instruments to  explore ostinatos. The 5th graders will soon begin using recorder instruments. The goal is to actually play real music in order to get them ready for entering middle school band/chorus/orchestra programs next year.
