• Thanks to Wake Forest University for collaborating with Reynolds toward the goal of helping all students succeed and meet life's challenges. In the Fall of 2012, we began a partnership with WFU and were selected as a Service Learning Site for a political science course.  Ten WFU students volunteered at least 20 hours each that semester and worked as ESL tutors, classroom helpers in sheltered courses, and helped with our Spring Campus-Wide Arts Theme of Immigration.  They were wonderful role models, helped our ESL students master core concepts, and gave constructive feedback to RJR in their presentations at the end of their semester.

This Fall-- 2013--we will again be a site for Service Learning for WFU students enrolled in Racial and Ethnic Politics with Professor Betina Wilkinson.  This page will be a source of information and documentation of that project.  University students will tutor ESL students, share their knowledge on Racial and Ethnic Politics, and help with our Campus-Wide Arts Theme of POETRY.  We are grateful to WFU for the partnership and to the WFU students for their insights and volunteer hours with our students.
