• Students may choose from any of these assignments to turn in each week. Sketches will be due at the beginning of class on Mondays or Tuesdays, I do not accept late sketches unless of absence.  Please remember that all sketches must be a full page and colored! 

     

    *Create a collage with your favorite things on it

    *Trace your hand and then create an imaginary world on it

    *Draw an object only using lines (thick, thin, jagged, curvy, etc.)

    *Design your own cereal box

    *Draw the first letter of your name and incorporate things that you like around it

    *Draw your house from the outside

    *Draw something that has been bitten into

    *Draw a famous painting with colored pencils

    *Draw your bedroom

    *Draw paper money and color it monochromatic

    *Draw what you are watching on TV

    *Draw your pet, if you don’t have a pet draw one you would like

    *Draw your hand showing all the lines you see in it

    *Draw a soda can

    *Draw something from your kitchen

    *Draw something from your living room

    *Create your own cartoon character

    *Draw yourself as a cartoon character

    *Draw your friend as a cartoon character

    *Find a picture of a small insect and draw part of it magnified

    *Find a glass and draw what you see when you look through it

    *Find an object that you can see your reflection and draw what you see (spoon, toaster)

    *Take four pieces silverware and lay them down in different directions and draw

    *Find a piece of clothing, drop it on the floor then draw what you see

    *Draw your foot, showing the bones and veins.  Show shading

    *Create a picture only using geometric shapes

    *Draw your name with a patter around it, using only primary colors

    *Draw a tree outside showing the fall colors

    *Draw a tree outside showing the blooms of spring flowers

    *Find four writing utensils arrange them on the table and draw
