• AU Diagnostic Support Team (ADST)Colleagues

The role of the ADST is three-fold. First and foremost, the team members want to provide support and consultation to other psychologists within the department. While the primary psychologist will still be responsible for the majority of the evaluation on their student, an ADST team member may be able to provide additional insight and/or evaluation information on difficult cases. Second, the team members will strive for consistency among the psychologists when evaluating, writing reports and making recommendations for children who fall on the Autism Spectrum. Third, the team members will further develop rapport with the Exceptional Children's department concerning procedural and assessment issues.
