• Girls on the Run is an internationally acclaimed youth sports development program for 3rd-8th grade girls designed to build self awareness, self-esteem and to improve health habits and fitness. Girls met in the fall after school Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30. They worked on activities to improve self-esteem and body perceptions that were creatively integrated with running and physical activity. At the end of the program the girls participated in a 5k Race!
